This place is a nice little market that has a lot of items that you can't find at many other stores. I'm glad they carry vegan items and stuff that we can't find anywhere else.
Great people. An amazing staff. They really want you to have a wonderful experience. They carry everything you might need. The deli is phenomenal. The convenience is 10/10. On site beer wine selection is hands down the best in the area with craft beers from VT. The wine selection is actually impressive for the rural feel this place has. 802 liquors in store has the best picks for any enthusiasts. If you ski/board. This is where you stock up for Jay peak. Again . Really wonderful folks.
One of my favorites, but this is also because they carry my favorite bag of pretzels! Getting better daily! Bringing in new food/products all the time, loving it! I find things at this store that I am unable to find at larger chain grocery stores like Walmart or Price Chopper...
Good meats here, with weekly sales. Prices are about average, but is a smaller store and easier to navigate than larger supermarket chains. Also has a very nice salad/soup bar with fresh ingredients daily.
Their Meat is the best. Connie has been the butcher there for as long as I can remember. A little bit more expensive than Walmart but it's where we go. They got the liquor store there and it's friendly service.
The cashiers are always so friendly when I'm there. The store is clean and they have a great selection. The liquor store has come a long way since when it first opened there. Great job everyone.
Wow! I found food items here that I couldn't locate in other food stores. I don't live in the community, but I see a constant stream of customers, even when just driving by. It's centrally located within downtown Newport. They always have enough cash registers available. Staff mill about to answer customer questions and are very helpful. It's clean and organized with lots of fresh fruits and veggies. It's not so large that one is all tired out from shopping there. Check it out!
I am always so thankful to still have Vista here in Newport. I find the staff helpful,courteous and often go the extra mile....that is good customer service.For the most part products are of good quality and good selection. Waiting in line is not a deal breaker as I have seldom felt it was unreasonable and it gives time to visit with folks you don't often see. Keep up the good work in the New Year 2025 !
This was my main food store 2005-2011. Prices better than the two bigger = chain stores outside of town. Selection is generally narrower unless you a= re looking for old-fashioned things you used to find at Grandma's in which = case this is where to go. Meat and produce are fresher than the chains, to= o. Staff actually know something. Seems geared more to working class and lo= cal tastes than out-of-town gourmets.. I give it five stars for my needs bu= t yours may vary.
